House Sitting

Hey there, I'm Lexi! For most of the last three years I've been out at sea working for Sea Shepherd as a Bridge Officer and Ship Manager. I love marine animals and the ocean of course but I also love the furry land animals and have missed being around them while at sea. I'm on a break from ship life for a few years and have set up my Aerial Yoga Business in Geelong, Ocean Air Yoga (oceanairyoga.com.au).

 I have been housesitting since January 2019 and am loving it! It works well for me to keep my costs low while growing my business and to have my own space with gorgeous temporary pets to look after. I have some availability throughout the remainder of 2019 and ideally want to be in Torquay or close by, to be near family, friends and the business. 

Cheaper than a kennel, and far more stable for your pets. You will return to a happy home, a clean space, well cared for pets, mail collected and the ability to check in regularly while you're away to receive updates about your pets and home. I'll send photos, updates and contact you immediately if any urgent matters arise. 

The daily costs include up to two pets, one walk per day and any food or medication needs.

Additional pets are $5 each per day. Additional walks are $5 per day.  I.e. a home with 3 dogs requiring two walks per day = $25 base rate + $5 for extra dog + $5 for extra walk = $35 per day total. Long term sits will be able to negotiate a discount.

I'm also a permaculture enthusiast (so am happy to take care of the garden), am a non smoker and am very tidy. I have a working with children's check, can drive a boat, have a car and am a pretty decent person really. I'd look after your home, pets and garden like it was my own.
